Who doesn’t love a good tea party with your lady friends?! Recently I hosted a tea party for the ladies from church and had so much fun getting everything ready for it that I thought I would share some of the pictures so you could see what fun we had 🙂
I am not very good at this party decorating thing as you can easily see, and wasn’t even really planning to decorate (we just needed to get out of the house and spend some time together) but as I was preparing food I started looking around my kitchen and noticing all the sunflower decor I already had setting out and thought, why not use that?! So here is a little of what I came up with 🙂
I wanted to have a veggie tray but wanted something different then the normal – lay all the veggies in a straight line on a tray- so Pinterest here I come 🙂 Found this idea and just dug around till I found enough glass jars-containers to suit my fancy!
Some more of the little details… The last picture is priceless! Poor Wyatt getting attacked by Shania, don’t worry, we do teach her to be kind to other kids, I just thought his expression was too good to pass up!
Some delicious Artisan Bread made by my friend Sarah. She has a special knack for making everything look adorable!
She has the recipe for this bread over on her blog at Sara Jess Memories
and here is the direct link to her Rustic Crusty Bread! Be sure to check out all the other interesting things while you are there!
And last but not least, here is a picture of the Triple Chocolate Bundt Cake I made, with my like new Bundt pan that I got at Salvation Army! (Score!) Love finding deals like that!
I will be sharing the recipe for this delicious cake shortly so stay tuned 🙂
I asked each of the ladies to bring a favorite recipe of theirs along and then we each ended up being able to take 7 new recipes home!
