God’s Plans or My Plans

How many times do I pray that God would work out my plans, instead of asking Him what is His plan for me?

Am I too wrapped up in my life to see what He wants for me?

This is one of my favorite verses, its such an awesome promise!

Today I am choosing to claim this promise!

His plans are for good, not for a disaster, they will give me a future and a hope!

Are you joining me to claim this promise?

I’d love to hear from you in the comments, what are areas that you struggle with letting go and totally trusting God to fulfill His promise?

  1. This is one of my favorites! I also love and have to remind myself of Matthew 6:25-34. I have always been a worrier and this is a great reminder to leave it to God.

  2. I’m reading a book by Paul David Tripp, “War of Words”, and I just read about how God rules over all things for his glory. Paul Tripp says, “When we speak as if we are in control (or ought to be), when we take glory for ourselves, when we complain about the things God has put on our plate, we are rejecting his ultimate purpose for us–that we would be people who live (and speak) for his glory.” That slapped me in the face, “we are rejecting his ultimate purpose for us”…oh man, may we know and understand God’s plans are far much better. Even in the trials that God has us walk through. In the end it’s all for a reason.

This is a great thought provoking post. Thank you for sharing…

  3. Thank you for the encouragement, I needed it today. It is so hart to let go my plans and accept Gods plans, but looking back, every time I did it, it was such a blessing. Even in situations like submitting to my husbands ides (that might not seem very Godly to me) but submission is Gods plan for me. And God blesses that.

    • Thanks for commenting Anna! And I can definitely agree, such a blessing!
If we submit to our Husband we are submitting to God as well!
