Ooo-la-la Fried Ice Cream! Thats what I thot when I found this recipe and now that I tried it, lets just say it doesn’t last long around here. Since my hubby already loves Ice Cream, this has been a big hit with him! Especially after adding the coconut and Corn Flakes, yummy 🙂
Fried Ice Cream Dessert
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 3 cups of crushed corn flakes
- 1/2 c Coconut
- 2 qts. of vanilla ice cream (softened)
- 1 container of whipped topping
- 1 t. cinnamon
- Honey, for drizzling
- Chocolate Syrup (Optional)
Directions: Melt butter in frying pan, crush corn flakes and add to melted butter along with sugar. Fry for 3 minutes stirring constantly so the butter doesn’t burn.
Pat about half of the corn flakes into bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Drizzle with Chocolate Syrup.
I usually set the ice cream out for about 15 minutes before I start mixing the rest of the ingredients together so its softened up a lil. (If you plan to mix by hand you might wanna put it out longer)
Combine Ice Cream, Whipped Topping and Cinnamon in Bosch Mixer. Beat on low just until incorporated. (can mix by hand but I love my Bosch) 🙂 Spread evenly over your crust, being careful to not let the crust go every which way as your spreading it out LOL.
Spread rest of corn flake mixture over ice cream, then top that with Coconut, Honey, and Chocolate Syrup! Put in freezer until ready to serve! Wowsers! its even better the longer you eat it!
