Hey its been a while since I’ve been on here to update much. So its good to be back!
Recently i made these BBQ Meatballs for Sunday lunch and they were delicious.
3 lbs. hamburger (i used half hamburger and half deer burger)
2 c. quick oats
1 1/2 c. cream or evaporated milk
1 c. chopped onions
2 t. salt
2 t. chili powder
1/2 t. pepper
1/2 t. garlic powder
4 c. ketchup
3 T. liquid smoke
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 t. garlic powder
Mix and shape into small balls. Place in two 9 x 13 pans. Prepare Sauce. Pour over meatballs; cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. If you want to make them to freeze place in a single layer on waxed paper line cookie sheets. Freeze until solid. Store frozen meatballs in a freezer bag until ready to cook then add sauce when baking them.
We actually grilled the ones that i made cause it gives them a great flavor! I shaped them into balls and put them on a cookie sheet in the fridge for a few hours so they stick together on the grill better then when they came off the grill put them in a crockpot and put layers of sauce on them n heated it like that! They are delicious like that as well!
